FEZ CERBUINO

ELECTRIC IMP APRIL DEVELOPMENT BOARD

April is a very simple board with the minimum required components for an imp001 device. This breakout board provides just the bare minimum for Imp life support - a socket, an ID chip, and a 3.3v buck power supply for high power efficiency. These devices could work as dataloggers and measures concentrators for the data adquisition of over 100 measuring devices and its forwarding sending trough GPRS/3G communication to Altair SmartWorks IoT platform. The communications with the measuring devices is made through serial communication, both RS232 and RS485, Ethernet, GPRS/GSM and, in DL170 and DL171 cases, also through radiofrequency thanks to their MESH technology integrated. All the devices supports multiple industrial communication protocols as MODBUS RTU / TCP, MBUS, KNX, IEC870-5-102, DLMS/COSEM, SNMP, etc. The devices has digital I/O signal for event detecting, counting and control of external devices.

The new telematics control unit owa4X is an IoT Gateway- based on LINUX - has GNSS, Bluetooth Smart / WiFi and scores with outstanding performance on the proven architecture. This is ensured by the ARM Cortex A8 32bit 800Mhz processor and the 512MB DDR, as well as 1GB NAND Flash.

New on the market are the up to 4 CAN interfaces. The owa4X is a compact on-board unit that allows the device to be used even in harsh environments and at extreme temperatures.

The owa4x is available exclusively in a robust plastic housing which optionally meets the protection class standard IP67.
